Womens Rights

I have been seeing a lot of crap about the rights assault on women's rights, so I decided to look into it. This is from the ACLU website: The "War on Women" describes the legislative and rhetorical attacks on women and women’s rights taking place across the nation. In includes a wide-range of policy efforts designed to place restrictions on women's health care and erode protections for women and their families. Examples at the state and federal level have included restricting contraception; cutting off funding for Planned Parenthood; state-mandated, medically unnecessary ultrasounds; abortion taxes; abortion waiting periods; forcing women to tell their employers why they want birth control, and prohibiting insurance companies from including abortion coverage in their policies. That makes up the gist of the whole argument. Once all the posturing and ranting is over, it all boils down to abortion. Every site that talks about the war on women as being reproductive rights, but are strangely silent on the misogyny towards women like Michelle Bachman and Sarah Palin. Agree or disagree, is the fact that their views don't align with the left make it ok to attack them personnally? Abortion is a debatable position, and the people against it are just as passionate as the pro choice side, but because conservatives are against it, they are marginalized and labelled as anti woman. I challenge any one to prove me wrong.
